About Camperdown

Our story started in 2023, when Tom Lowe, an Irishman living beside Prospect Park in Brooklyn couldn't find a good map of the park - so he produced one of his own with the help of an international group of cartographers and designers.

Tom's map was soon hanging on walls all around the area. It has become a popular gift for current and former Brooklynites.

Seeing this success, Tom's Dublin-based brother, Matthew, decided that the time was ripe for the creation of a similar map of Phoenix Park - the most popular tourist attraction in Dublin, and one of Europe's largest enclosed city parks, with a storied history. Through our work on data, design and historical research we launched a unique wall map showing the park in great detail. It's surrounded by descriptions of the associated history, buildings, monuments, sporting activities, flora and fauna.

Next up, in 2026, sister Sadie, a past pupil of Holy Child Killiney, initiated a map of Killiney Hill Park, a renowned coastal beauty spot and the most prominent geological feature in South Dublin. The map shows the monuments, buildings, paths, seats and natural features of the park in greater detail than ever before, and outlines its story from Neolithic times through private ownership to today's public park.

We hope you'll get as much enjoyment from our maps as we've had putting them together.

Hang in there!
