About Camperdown
Camperdown's story starts in 2023, when Tom Lowe, an Irishman living beside Prospect Park in Brooklyn couldn't find a good map of the park so he produced one of his own with the help of an international group of cartographers and designers.
People immediately responded to the initiative, and Tom's map was soon hanging on walls all around the area. It became a popular gift for current Brooklynites, and also for the many that have since moved on.

Seeing this success, Tom's Dublin-based brother, Matthew, decided that the time was ripe for the creation of a similar map of Phoenix Park - the most popular tourist attraction in Dublin, and one of Europe's largest enclosed city parks, with a storied history.
So an investment in data, design and historical research has given rise to the 2024 launch of a unique wall map showing all the park's main features. It's surrounded by descriptions of the associated history, buildings, monuments, sporting activities, flora and fauna.

It's early days as we write this, but it's creating a lot of buzz. There are two very important people who live in mansions in the Phoenix Park, and one of them has already asked for a copy. No, we can't say which!
We hope you'll get as much enjoyment from our maps as we've had putting them together.
Hang in there!
